At its Nov. 21, 2024 meeting the Mineola Union Free School District Board of Education approved a series of routine resolutions.

Resolution 32 designated Whitney Smith, EdD, and Stephanie Hoenig as the district’s McKinney‑Vento liaisons under board policy 13‑30. The motion was made by Vice President Cheryl Andersono and seconded by trustee Brian Whitman; the chair called the vote and announced "Aye," and the board recorded the resolution as passed.

Resolution 33 named Will Herman as the district Title IX compliance officer and rescinded the district’s previous designation of Whitney Smith in that role. The motion was made by trustee Patrick Talke and seconded by trustee Stacy DeSilas; the board voted and the resolution passed.

The board also approved Resolution 34, the consensus agenda, which included routine personnel items and authorization of three student overseas trips: to Costa Rica and Panama (April 13–21), to France (Feb. 14–22) and to Spain (Feb. 17–23). The chair called for the motion and the vote; the consensus agenda passed with the board announcing 'Aye.'

Minutes and roll call were not recorded in detail in the public remarks at the meeting; the board announced each motion passed by vocal assent. The meeting concluded after the board voted to convene an executive session to discuss litigation.
