The Elwood Union Free School District board accepted a donation and completed organizational business during its February meeting.
The board accepted a donation from an outside donor identified in the meeting as "Long Island raise" to support Elwood John H. Glenn School athletics. A motion to accept the donations was made and the board voted 5-0 to approve.
The board then approved a large consent agenda covering internal and external auditors, the district law firm, district officers, cabinet appointments, teacher hires and other personnel matters. The consent agenda was approved by voice vote (recorded as 5-0).
