Tim Gant, director of the Green County Library, reported to the Greenup County Fiscal Court on library activity over the previous three months, citing about 25,293 visits across three locations and the bookmobile and nearly 47,000 total circulations (physical and digital). The library provided 403 programs during the period with 2,125 attendees.
Gant said the splash pad parts have been powder‑coated and are expected to be installed with a target opening between mid‑July and Aug. 1, though he cautioned schedules can change. He also noted exploratory work on a small dog park behind the bookmobile garage to give visitors an additional amenity.
The court accepted the library report into the record.
Provenance: The library usage statistics, splash pad status and dog park exploration were presented in Tim Gant’s update and accepted by the court.
