Sachem board approves routine consent agendas, personnel actions and donations

The Board of Education approved routine business and personnel items during the Dec. 18 meeting. Trustees voted by voice to approve the minutes from Dec. 4 (motion by Stephanie, second by Meredith) and carried multiple consent agendas covering business items, teacher personnel items (A–P), administrator personnel items, contracts (consent A–N) and a donation from Winona Elementary School PTA.
The Committee on Special Education consent agenda was also approved. A first reading of several policy revisions was presented; no final votes on those policies occurred at first reading. The board concluded the public portion of the meeting by moving into executive session to discuss CVA case updates, contracts, potential rental or sale of property, and a personal staff matter (motion by Reynolds, second by Meredith Volpe).
