Public Service Commission approves renewable facility certification for Sequiter, cancels supplier license

The Public Service Commission approved minutes from its Nov. 26, 2024 meeting and voted to grant a renewable energy facility certification to Sequiter Renewables LLC and to cancel an electricity supplier license for Utility Management Services Inc. at its Dec. 4 administrative meeting.
The chair moved to approve the Sequiter Renewables application and to issue a renewable energy facility identification certification, directing the applicant to establish a REC account with PJM Gatz within 30 days and to notify the commission within 30 days of any changes to the information underlying the application. Commissioners Sutchman, Barbet and Richard each voted "Aye," and the motion passed.
The commission then moved to cancel the company's electricity supplier license for Utility Management Services Inc.; the same commissioners again voted "Aye" and the chair recorded the motion as approved.
