The Mexico City Council approved a resolution July 22 authorizing the city manager to execute contract documents with Plan B Development, the city's on-call contractor, to make concrete repairs and adjust a manhole on Huntington Court.
City staff said Huntington Court is a small cul-de-sac off the west end of Lakeview with significant pavement and soil movement. Staff reported they received an estimate for labor and equipment of about $19,040 to complete the concrete repairs and related manhole adjustments; the city would supply material. Staff said Plan B Development was awarded a three-year on-call contract earlier in the year and that the street department recommends proceeding this fiscal year to complete the work.
Staff also reported the street-operations account should have roughly $38,000 remaining after the next large project (a 2024 chip-seal project), meaning sufficient funds are available for the Huntington Court repairs. The council moved and passed Bill No. 2020-0445 authorizing the city manager to sign the contract documents.
