The mayor added that unions "did not lose anything in this deal" and that members should see similar benefits with reduced out-of-pocket costs for co-payments.
Next steps: administrators said they will begin community-energy planning work and will coordinate roll-out details for the insurance program with union leadership and municipal staff.
