Ms. Spansion Stearns told council recent engineering and clearing work identified two wet spots at the dam toe; one was surface water, the other appeared hydrologically connected to the lake and requires a drainage solution.
Stearns described the proposed fix as a large French drain to draw water away from the toe of the dam and better protect it. Councilman Thomas moved to approve the contract and Councilman Massey seconded; the motion carried by voice vote.
