Robert Lay told council the city was allocated $278,871 for the program year: $189,776 toward repayment of a Section 108 loan, $33,465 to the emergency repair program, $28,000 to code compliance activities and $27,630 for administration. Lay said there were no public comments during the statutorily required hearing.
Mayor Pro Tem Adams moved to approve the CAPER as presented pending final public comment and Councilman Thomas seconded the motion. The council voted unanimously to approve the report.
Council asked routine clarifying questions about surplus funds and Lay confirmed no surplus existed for the year in question.
