Harrisonville board approves development agreement for Cedar Crossing

Christina, a city staff member presenting the item, told the board the resolution “is the same as what you saw in the development packet when it went through except for the ordinance number and dates are referenced. There were no other changes other than taking off the draft watermark. They did not have changes to their engineer estimates, and our engineering said that those were in line with what we expect to see.” The board had no questions.
Alderman Dorhof moved approval, Alderman Turner seconded, and the mayor called a roll-call vote. The meeting record shows all voting aldermen recorded “Aye.” The clerk announced Council Bill 64 as adopted and designated it Resolution 2024-31.
The resolution authorizes the city administrator to finalize and sign the development agreement; the meeting record does not include additional terms of the agreement beyond the parties and the development name. Staff indicated the agreement reflected the packet materials previously provided to aldermen.
The matter concluded with the formal adoption of Resolution 2024-31. The board proceeded to other business after the vote.
