3) Rezoning — Case Z-462-24-1. The board approved rezoning 69.19 acres from RA to light industrial for a proposed data center campus, passing 4–3 after extended public comment and board debate. The applicant amended proffers to include a 50-foot buffer on Kaiser Road, reduced pole heights, $0.28 per square foot for fire/rescue mitigation, a $25,000 contribution to the county perpetual development-rights program, a $75,000 donation toward a shared-use path, and commitments to incorporate efficient water and power management strategies at site-plan stage.
