Atlantic County commissioners approve contracts, change orders and $2.5M interlocal funding for research park

The board approved a resolution authorizing an interlocal services agreement with the Atlantic County Improvement Authority to release $2,500,000 to partially fund construction of Building 2 at the National Aerospace Research and Technology Park in Mount Lassetter City. That motion was moved by Commissioner Risley and seconded by Commissioner Ballas and carried on roll call.
Commissioners also adopted smaller interlocal agreements to provide construction management services for a justice facility repaving project (amount not to exceed $38,000) and to provide construction management for Galloway Library HVAC upgrades (amount not to exceed $65,830). The board combined and adopted several other routine resolutions (Res. 603–605) and approved a correction to a 2024 budget line item per N.J.S. 48:4-58.
