McCann said permits were issued in Danvers and neighboring Peabody and that the proposed school building will be located entirely in Peabody; relocating the easement is necessary to allow reasonable use of the Danvers-owned parcel.
Stephen King, town engineer, told the board that Hancock Associates prepared the proposed relocation and that the proposed alignment preserves the drainage tributary pattern and provides the slopes needed for the drainage pipe. King said the town will inspect installation under its stormwater-permit authority and that standard constructability warranties will apply.
The town clerk confirmed the paperwork was in order, a board member moved to approve the easement modification, the motion was seconded, and the board voted to approve the relocation. The assessor and DPW staff will retain the approved plans and the executed easement deed in town records.
