The Panama City Community Redevelopment Agency voted to authorize an FY26 interlocal agreement with the City of Panama City Parks, Culture and Recreation Department for maintenance of CRA improvements and assets in the amount of $255,655.
Staff summarized the agreement and advised the cost is budgeted. When asked where additional funds would come from if costs exceed the estimate, staff replied that the expense is already included in the budget. Board members asked about a planned work-order software system to document maintenance activity. Staff said the software must go through IT’s ticketing process and estimated about a month to build out customizations after sign-up, with a realistic expectation of producing useful reports by March.
The motion to approve the interlocal agreement was moved, seconded and passed by roll call 5–0 (Board members Granger, Street, Hughes, Lucas and Chairman Branch voting “Yes”). The agreement authorizes the CRA executive director to execute the contract and assign maintenance responsibilities to the Parks department as outlined in the staff packet.
