Committee members released several measures after testimony and debate. Chair Lagano said the measures aim to reduce administrative barriers and update statutes "to more closely encompass what occupational therapists are doing in 2025." Tracy DeSarno of Public Strategies Impact, representing the New Jersey Occupational Therapy Association, said S3931 adds continuing‑education requirements and updates the definition of occupational‑therapy services.
