Later in the consent sequence the council adopted Resolution R2025‑062 (a pre‑annexation development agreement for Avenue 9 E, south of 30 Second Street) and a group of 12 additional resolutions. Those adopted items included Resolution R2025‑051, a Memorandum of Understanding establishing continued participation in the Yuma Regional Mental Health Court; intergovernmental agreements with the San Luis Police Department and an Arizona Department of Transportation pedestrian‑beacon amendment; several pre‑annexation development agreements; and an order for municipal improvements and a wetlands support resolution for Paradise Cove West.
On the ordinance consent calendar, council approved five items by roll call, including text amendments addressing animals and fowl, large animals, accessory dwelling units (a scrivener’s error in the draft was noted but deemed non‑material), and a planned‑unit‑development overlay. Council also introduced Ordinance O2025‑021 to rezone 1720 South Maple Avenue; that measure was presented for introduction only.
Most consent items passed unanimously or by the affirmative roll calls recorded by the clerk. No public speakers registered on the consent items that required public notice. Councilmembers said the consent approvals permit routine city business and development work to proceed without separate hearings.
