House adopts committee reports and sets multiple bills for further consideration

During the floor session the House received and adopted committee reports from the Energy, Natural Resources and Agriculture Committee and the Health and Environment Committee. Several bills were recommended for placement on consent calendars or for second/third reading.
The Energy, Natural Resources and Agriculture Committee reported favorably on items including Senate Bill 32 and several others to be placed on the consent calendar; the Rules Committee announced a set of bills to be read for the second time and placed on the third-reading calendar, including Substitute House Bill 184, House Bill 187, Substitute House Bill 197, House Bill 256 and others. The Health and Environment Committee noted it had tabled Substitute House Bill 69, House Bill 243 and House Bill 171 and referred them to Rules.
Members adopted the committee and rules reports by voice vote and the clerk read the list of bills to be advanced. The House recessed until 2 p.m.
