A series of procedural actions closed the March 2 floor session.
Early in the session Representative Yardley moved to recall Senate Bill 141 (Mineland Reclamation) from the Senate and place it at the top of the third-reading calendar. The motion was adopted and the Clerk announced the bill would be recalled to the House for third reading.
Representative Brown later moved to recall House Bill 416 from the Senate for the purpose of making Trust Land Management amendments; the motion passed. Under suspension of the rules, the House then lifted HJR28 and HJR29 from the Rules Committee, read them for a second time and placed them at the top of the third-reading calendar.
Representative Stevens moved that the House adjourn until 8 a.m. the next morning; the motion carried and the chamber adjourned.
