House receives multiple Senate-passed measures and refers several to Rules Committee

The House recorded numerous Senate transmittals including bills on property-tax reassessment notifications, concealed-weapon permits, soil conservation reporting, state-park funding, and motor-vehicle registration; multiple items were referred to the Rules Committee for first reading.
At the opening of the Feb. 1 session, the Reading Clerk and Speaker read into the record a series of Senate-passed measures transmitted to the House for consideration. The items included Senate bills on property-tax reassessment notification (S.B. 57), concealed-weapon permit amendments (S.B. 115), soil conservation district reporting (S.B. 97), funding for Bear Lake State Park (S.B. 107), and a set of motor-vehicle and registration-related bills (S.B. 84, S.B. 80, S.B. 77, S.B. 70, S.B. 95), among others.
The Speaker and clerk noted that several of those Senate bills (listed during the communications) would be considered for the first time and referred to the Rules Committee. The transmittals were entered into the House journal as part of the official record.
