Votes at a glance: bills the House passed on Jan. 24, 1994

During the Jan. 24 floor session the Utah House considered a number of bills. The following is a brief list of bills that were passed on the floor with recorded tallies and short descriptions based on floor remarks.

- House Bill 63 (deputy sheriff's merit commission per diem): passed 50-18; authorizes per diem compensation for deputy sheriff's merit commissions and was referred to the Senate.

- House Bill 75 (Small Business Advisory Council amendments): passed 70-0; expands the council from 11 to 15 members and adjusts reporting procedures.
