SALT LAKE CITY — On the same floor day, a member moved, after voting on the prevailing side, to reconsider action on Senate Bill 156 (concerned on the floor as relating to areas of medical practice) and to place the bill on the board to be circled for additional clarification and review.
The mover said sponsors had expressed difficulties and misunderstandings and requested the bill be revisited the following day. The motion to reconsider carried and members agreed to circle SB156 for further consideration, with at least one member noting they had questions and would meet with sponsors before the next session of consideration.
The motion to reconsider and circle the bill was introduced in floor remarks and carried without a recorded roll-call tally in the excerpted transcript; the item will return to the House calendar for additional review.
