The Utah House on Jan. 27 adopted a series of committee reports and passed a wide range of bills and resolutions, sending them to the state Senate for further consideration.

Several items were circled (held for further work) earlier in the session and some were later uncircled for floor consideration, including HB178, HB220 (reconsidered/circled), HB54 and HB228 (substitution and circling). The Rules Committee also moved numerous bills and closing resolutions onto the third-reading calendar.
What happened next: Passed bills will be sent to the Senate for further action; circled items will be revised or returned to committee for amendments.
