At its May 30 meeting the Town of Stratford Water Pollution Control Authority approved use of up to $10,000 from account number 389386319 to repair or replace a conveyor and press screw at the wastewater plant.
Board member Miss Woodham moved ‘‘to approve the use of up to $10,000 from account number 389386319, for the repair or replacement of the conveyor plus press screw as required.’’ The motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
Chair Brian O'Connor noted plant superintendent Tom Hyde was not present; meeting materials describing the needed part had been distributed to members in advance. The approval covers immediate repair or replacement as required; any larger projects would return to the board for separate authorization.
