- Consent-calendar Senate bills were approved: Substitute Senate Bill 175 (rural access to health care) passed (71 yes), Substitute Senate Bill 182 (liability coverage for school employees) passed 70-0, and Senate Bill 179 (unemployment insurance for Native American tribal units) passed 68-2. Those bills will be returned to the Senate for signature.
Several items required recorded tallies and clerical follow-up; members asked for lists of specific bills affected by the Rules return motion so staff could update calendars.
