Following passage of the day's bills, the Speaker moved to authorize appointment of committees to wait upon the Senate and the governor to indicate the House had completed its business. The motion passed. The Speaker appointed Representatives Jerry Adair, Ron Bigelow and David Litvak to wait on the Senate; Jack Sites, Lorraine Pace and Karen Morgan were appointed to wait on the governor.
Those appointed reported back that the House had completed its work and the House then prepared to adjourn. The Journal records show the clerks entered signing and reading actions for passed measures prior to adjournment.
