The Town of Stratford council returned from executive session and voted to authorize the town attorneys to "proceed as discussed in executive session," a motion put forward by one council member and seconded by others.
The move came after Unidentified Speaker 1 opened by saying, "I'd like to make a motion that we return from executive session." Unidentified Speaker 2 and Miss Whittem seconded the motion to return; the council approved it by vocal assent. Later, Unidentified Speaker 1 said, "make a motion that the town council authorize the town attorneys to proceed as discussed in executive session." The motion was seconded (Mister Green is named as a seconder) and the chair announced, "Motion passes."
Following that action, the council addressed the last item on the agenda. Unidentified Speaker 1 "made the motion to adjourn," which was seconded and briefly discussed; the council voted in favor and the meeting concluded with the chair stating, "We stand adjourned."
