Utah House honors trooper injured on I‑15 with formal citation

Bowman told colleagues that several troopers were injured in the incident, that Fordham endured the most serious injuries and would face a lengthy recovery, and that the House was grateful for the service troopers provide to the state. The reading clerk concluded by presenting the resolution on the floor.
The recognition was framed as a ceremonial acknowledgement of public service; no legislative action or appropriation accompanied the citation. Members of the House and students in the gallery stood to acknowledge the honoree.
