Utah House approves settlement backing Legacy Parkway after heated debate; truck limits follow

Later in the evening the House approved Senate Bill 2,001, limiting certain truck traffic on the new right-of-way, by 49–21.
Representative Stuart Adams, the floor sponsor, framed the vote as a response to a decade of delay and litigation, saying federal litigation and appeals left the state with significant sunk costs.
