House approves mechanics lien payment amendments delaying implementation of lien release law

The House voted by voice to consider the bill under suspension of the rules and later recorded the final vote. The clerk reported 68 yes, 0 no and 7 absent; the bill passed and will be signed by the Speaker and referred to the Senate for the President's signature.
What happens next: the bill will be returned to the Senate for confirmation of the House action and then proceed to the usual enactment steps.
