Representative Kaye McKiff told members the Funeral Services Licensing Act amendments (House Bill 130) harmonize industry licensing standards and clarify disposition rules for next of kin; the measure passed on the consent calendar, 68–0, and was referred to the Senate.
Representative Steve Clark described House Concurrent Resolution 1 as "a resolution approving an interlocal agreement between the state and the municipalities surrounding Utah Lake," saying the proposed Utah Lake Commission would draft a master plan and "has no authority, but it does provide ways that we can make the lake more usable." The resolution passed and was transmitted to the Senate.
