The body opened debate and, with no sustained discussion, proceeded to a vote. The clerk announced that House Joint Resolution 10 received 54 yes votes and 8 no votes. The resolution will be referred back to the Senate for the president’s signature.
The concurrence does not itself change statute; it registers the House’s opposition to specific public-land designations and sends the amended resolution on to the Senate for final handling. No further action by the House on substance was recorded during the floor session.
