During the March 4 House session members approved a motion by Representative Dougal to recall first substitute Senate Bill 16 (related to State Tax Commission fee/collection amendments) from the Senate so a coordinating clause could be inserted; the Chair announced the bill would be recalled.
The House also agreed to 'circle' House Bill 339 (Charter School Enrollment Amendments) at the request of Representative Hutchings because promised amendments were not yet ready; circling preserves the bill’s place so the sponsor can return with the amendment.
Both actions were procedural and were carried by voice vote on the floor.
