Representative Dunnegan’s HB 165, clarifying that the secretary of the Senate and the chief clerk of the House are no longer seasonal temporary employees, passed 71-0 after being uncircled and taken up. Several other bills (HB 167–HB 174) were read for the first time and referred to the Rules Committee for assignment.
