On the floor: House passes National Guard governance update, ceremonial resolutions and other measures
Summary

- HB 208 (Utah National Guard Amendments): Representative Val Peterson said the bill modernizes the Guard’s structure, clarifies the governor as commander in chief, adjusts qualifications for The Adjutant General and adopts the federal code of military justice; the bill passed the House 68–0 and will be transmitted to the Senate.
