An unidentified Representative recognized under personal privilege offered brief remarks of thanks to colleagues, saying, "These are tears of joy for all the love and support that you offered to me and my family. And my sweet guy got to go home." The remarks were acknowledged by members and drew expressions of support from the presiding officer.
Representative Christensen reported the governor's representative said the governor had no further business to bring before the legislature. The presiding officer then moved to adjourn the second special session as a nondiscussable motion; the Speaker put the question, members voted aye, and the Speaker declared the motion passed and the House adjourned.
