Senate unanimously approves repeal of antiquated bulk-sales rules

He said the measure had passed the Senate in an earlier session and had a full hearing in Senate Judiciary Committee. “This bill simply repeals the bulk sales provisions of the...uniform commercial code,” Taylor said.
There was no substantive floor opposition recorded. The roll call produced a unanimous ‘aye’ vote of 29 senators, and the clerk announced the bill would be placed at the bottom of the third-reading calendar.
Next steps: the bill will appear on the third-reading calendar for further action by the full Senate.
