Senate passes several concurrence items, receives House communications and adjourns

On Feb. 25 the Senate received House communications about concurrence on several appropriations bills, recorded the passage of House Bill 219 and other concurrence items, and adjourned to reconvene Monday at 9 a.m.
The Utah Senate received communications from the House on Feb. 25 reporting concurrence on several Senate appropriations and transmitted items for further consideration.
The clerk reported that House Bill 219 had recorded votes in the House (20 ayes, six nays, three absent) and would be returned to the House for final signature, filing and enrollment. The clerk also read a communication signed by "Carol Lee Peterson, Chief Clark," transmitting that the House had passed, as amended, several Senate appropriations including SB 11 (associations of governments), SB 131 (assistive technology), SB 136 (Utah State Fair Park) and SB 150 (airport authority). The Senate placed those items on the concurrence calendar to be considered according to chamber rules.
After completing business and several member announcements, the Senate unanimously approved a motion to adjourn until Monday at 9:00 a.m.
