Senators questioned commission composition and subcommittee formation; Steele said the framework creates subcommittees that can examine specific technology areas and make recommendations to the legislature. The Senate adopted the sponsor's amendments and moved SB151 to third reading (22 aye votes recorded). The bill will now proceed through final readings and cross‑chamber consideration.
