Utah Legislature greets Province of Torino delegation, signals sister-county partnership and Olympic ties

Senators highlighted the recent 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah as background to cooperation with Torino, which will host the 2006 Winter Olympics. Salt Lake County Mayor Nancy Workman was noted as a local host and partner in the developing relationship.
The Senate presented commemorative pins and offered the delegation best wishes for continued exchanges, particularly in light of shared Olympic planning and experiences.
