Senator Bramble took the floor to make several announcements: lunch that day would be sponsored by the Sutherland Institute at the Alda Club with a shuttle leaving the east doors of the East Building beginning at 11:30 a.m.; distributed luminaria for cancer survivors should be labeled and returned to Paula; there would be an evening reception hosted by the Utah Medical Association from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wasatch Room of the Joseph Smith Building; and the Utah Bankers Association would host the Senate Lounge from 3 to 5 p.m. for a brief break and healthy food.
Earlier, Senator Hickman asked the Presiding Officer to note that there would be a Rules Committee meeting immediately following the floor session with one item expected to come from it. After the announcements, Senator Bramble said, "I would move that we, adjourn until, 10AM tomorrow morning." The Presiding Officer called for a voice vote, an affirmative response was recorded and the Presiding Officer said, "We are adjourned."
The transcript records the announcements and the adjournment motion; it does not record further debate, attendance counts, or subsequent scheduling details beyond the stated 10:00 a.m. adjournment time.
