Senate unanimously approves bill letting charter and state online students join local extracurriculars

Senator Madsen described the bill as creating a mechanism and calculation for a fee charged to the charter or online school so the school that provides the extracurricular activity is made whole. He emphasized the bill applies only to public charter and state-sponsored online schools; private schools are not included.
