Senator Hilliard participated in the conference committee and was acknowledged by Knudson during presentation.
The Senate moved to a roll-call on the fourth substitute and recorded the measure as passed; the clerk read the tally and the body instructed staff to return the bill to the House. No floor amendments were adopted during the Senate consideration.
The conference report and passage followed routine committee-assignment and rules actions earlier in the day; the adopted change equalizes testing requirements for all applicants seeking a notary license.
The Senate will transmit the adopted conference report and the fourth substitute of SB22 back to the House for enrollment and any further action there.
