Van Tassel said general renewal issues were outside this bill's scope; he explained that the state is partway through relicensing residents under the Real ID process and said the effort should be complete by the end of 2015.
After the exchange, the Senate approved moving SB 20 to third reading by roll call; the clerk announced the bill had received recorded support sufficient to place it on the third-reading calendar.
