Summary

At the start of the floor session the clerk reported passage of a slate of bills that were transmitted for enrolling and signature, and several committee reports were adopted by voice vote.
Examples listed on the floor (not exhaustive) include: Senate Bill 69 (Children's Heart Disease Special Group license plates), Senate Bill 123 (Office of Licensing Amendments), Senate Bill 129 (Driving Privilege Card Amendments), Senate Bill 135 (administrative law judge amendments), and Senate Bill 190 (open and public meetings law revisions). The clerk said these measures "have been transmitted for the signature of the President and sent to the staff for enrolling."
Committee reports from Health & Human Services, Business & Labor, Education and other committees were presented and placed on the second reading calendar. The rules committee recommended assignment of multiple bills to standing committees (examples: SB253 to Business & Labor; HB298 on lawful commerce in arms to Business & Labor; HB436 housing & homeless reform to Judiciary; HB300 body-worn cameras to Judiciary; HB340 telehealth revisions to Health & Human Services). The floor adopted the rules report by voice vote.
The consent calendar was taken, and the Senate recorded unanimous or near-unanimous voice support for the items placed there. Several bills were then read for third time votes and moved to the next steps in the process.
The Senate adjourned until 10 a.m. the following day.
