Senate approves update to nurse licensure compact to ease interstate practice

The sponsor said the bill was fully vetted by state nursing associations and the State Board of Nursing. Senator Vickers moved the bill; roll call recorded 27 yay votes, 0 nay votes, and 2 absences, and the bill passed and was sent to the House for consideration.
