Senate Bill 154 (local identity/tax amendments including an amendment to allow UAMPS participation in federal grant-eligible projects) passed 25–0 (4 absent). First substitute Senate Bill 119 (school accountability amendments) passed 26–0 (3 absent). First substitute Senate Bill 147 (school internship safety agreements), as substituted on third reading, passed 25–0 and will go to the House.
The Senate received additional Rules Committee assignments (including SB 170, SB 172, and others) and adopted a final rules committee report before adjourning. Senators introduced Senate Bill 185 (correctional facility transparency requirements) by first reading and then adjourned until 10 a.m. the next day.
