Votes at a glance: Senate approves package of bills ranging from water rights notices to public fund reporting

- HB19 (higher education financial aid amendments): Sen. Johnson said the bill amends tuition-fee assistance definitions so members of the Utah National Guard can be reimbursed; the Senate passed the bill.
- HB10 (Public Fund Amendments): Sen. Wilson described consolidating disclosures into one report from the Treasurer and requiring the Treasurer to report current balances to the political subdivision committee; the Senate passed the bill and will return it to the House for the Speaker's signature.
Several additional Senate bills were read for the first time and sent to the Rules Committee; the chamber also approved committee reports and set SJR11 for a time certain on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 2:15 p.m.
