Representatives emphasized both the sacrifices of students and the rapid adaptation by schools to recognize graduates.
The resolution was adopted without opposition. The Clerk announced SCR 501 “passes the house with 73 yes votes and 0 no votes.” Afterward, staff read the names of graduates in the gallery and those present stood for recognition.
The action is ceremonial and directs no new funding; it was recorded as a unanimous floor adoption.
