SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah House spent its Feb. 23 morning floor time advancing a broad set of measures across policy areas, placing many bills on the third-reading or consent calendars and sending several passed substitutes back to the Senate.
Lawmakers adopted committee reports and voted on a sequence of bills with limited floor debate. House Bill 4 57, addressing state property transfer appraisals, passed 63–1; HB 402 (extradition tolling amendments) passed 69–0; HB 432 (probate modifications) passed 65–0; and HB 312 (patient medical record access amendments) passed 67–0. On tax policy, Senate Bill 157 (personal property tax amendments) passed 67–0.
