At its March 11 meeting the City of Allen City Council approved the consent agenda containing routine and non‑controversial items, City Secretary Shelly George read into the record.
Items approved included minutes from the Feb. 25 council meeting; adoption of ordinance number 4142‑3‑25 amending the Code of Ordinances, chapter 6 (Health and Environment) to add a crime‑free multifamily housing program; and adoption of resolution number 4143‑3‑25 appointing the board of directors for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Reinvestment Zone No. 4.
The council also authorized an agreement with Figway for the Sloan Creek Trunk Sewer Project for $123,319 and authorized an agreement with Binkley and Barfield for design of the Jupiter Sanitary Sewer Main and Oak Hill Water Main replacement project for $381,000. A councilmember (speaker 12) moved to approve the consent agenda and the motion received a second; the mayor called for votes and announced the item passed.
No roll‑call tally was recorded in the transcript and no councilmember requested removal of any consent items before the vote.
The council moved on to regular business following the approval of the consent agenda.
